We have an application that needs to be develoed in BREW. The application basically reads incoming SMS messages, captures the numertic data and then will make a new call as needed. This, as you know, obviously needs the carrier access. While shipping the test bit enabled BREW handsets to outside countries is possible, is there anyway how someone can develop and test the above described features using a handset ?

did anybody use the solution provided by mobilecomplete.com or a similar one so far for remote BREW app development that covers the network features?

this is a rather very important question

We might be able to do that for you. In addition, we also guarantee that our apps will pass TBT. If you are interested, please contact: support@axiomtesting.com

Thank you.

This is a discussion forum. Can someone provide any experiences/stories in using MobileComplete solution ?

I've recently tried to test one of our applications on different devices using mobilecomplete (www.deviceanywhere.com).

Even if the uploading process seemed to work ok, the application was nowhere to be found on the phone. They suggested that after uploading (the phone is autmatically powered off and on) you should find your app on the "Get it now" menu. They offer you the ESN hex number in order to generate you signature but the uploading doesn't seem to be working or I've just missed something in the process.

I asked MobilComplete about their BREW support and apparently its not exactly functional at the moment. I was told that there are some significant updates coming this week and that they'd let me know once it was operational. They offered to upload my apps/extensions to handsets manually if I wanted to in the meantime though.

testing works now but they have only a limited number of devices.

I work for Mobile Complete and we have more than 500+ devices in DeviceAnywhere.com now. This includes a large number of BREW devices on Verizon and Alltel.

There is a 3-hour trial on the website, which can get you started with a basic account to try the service out.
