Ladies and Gentlemen,

We're looking for your advice on a few phones that apparently have no data cables available for them.

How can one upload an application to the phone (presumably using the ApplicationLoader utility) if the device has no cable?

Does Qualcomm supply cables, or have access to Manufacturer resources, that perhaps the public cannot purchase?

Does Qualcomm modify some phones to add serial connectors?

You get it from the handset manufacturer or from carrier shop.

Sir,

The manufacturers do not provide data cable for these phones.

Would anyone else care to comment on my question?

I think you can use the 8900 cables for the 8940. If you don't have that, Curitel has a data cable called "DD500" (works with Kyoceras and LGEs too).

For the KX2, we use the data cable for Kyocera 3250 or 3225.

The kx2 works with the Kyocera TXDTA10032 USB cable.

The CDM-8940 seems to work pretty well with a VX6000 cable.

Depends on the cable make...I have a (discontinued) Kyocera cable that works for all Curitel, LG and Kyocera devices (at least the ones it fits). :p

Hello,

Interesting topic here. I was wondering if the TXDTA10075 cable kit would work for the Kyocera KX2 AND / OR the Kyocera 3250. My company needs to load these phones in the next week or so.

Thanks,

I can't say for sure since I don't know the cable number, but I used a single cable for both the 3250 and the KX2.
