Nokia phone connection

Hi,
I have got 2 nokia phones. Nokia 3589i and Nokia 3205. I have got the new sets of dll for nokia apploader. Also I have DKU- 9t serial cable. After installing the new set of dll, I do get the nokia OEM layer option in the Brew Apploader but then the device is not detected and i get error saying Device with id not found.
Earlier I submited this query to forum and i was not having the DKU-9t cable. Pple told me to get DKU-9T cable and i did.
But still my handsets arent responding to apploader.
What else is required????

I've been having similar problems, however I am using a USB cable.

I would try using the Nokia PC suite (available at http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,54691,00.html) to connect to your phone. (see http://brewforums.qualcomm.com/showthread.php?t=7960 for a description of my problem)

If that works then you know it's Apploader that's the problem and not you.


I've also had recent problems with Apploader and Serial cables in general. I was finally able to get it to work after disconnecting, reconnecting, rebooting the device several times.
