Downloading an application to a Samsung SCH A655

Hello from all.

I want to download an application for testing purposes to a Samsung SCH A655 mobile phone, the phone has an USB based cable for downloading data.

How Do I get the support for USB port in Brew AppLoader

you need to install the usb driver or modem driver or whatever it is called that allows the device to show up as a modem (and hence, a com port).

Then you need to connect and turn on the handset before starting up apploader, the com port should now show up on the list of com ports for apploader

Could you tell me is there a USB/Modem driver for the phone?, if yes, where can I find it? Do I have to go to any website and download it?

I dont have/know about that particular phone, but you probably should be able to get a driver from the same place that you got the cable from.

The other possiblity one of the drivers from futuredial, though it might not be a good idea if the cable isnt from them (or they dont offer a similar cable)
