Hi,

I got an application Digital Signature failure (1039) when I try to run a sample application on the phone. I got a sig file from qualcomm site using the TestSig generator.

I was looking at some earlier posts and it was said that the phone might have to be "Test Enabled". Does this mean I have to send the phone to QComm??

As an aside ..

The SDK on Motorola T720 is SDK 1.1. I had developed an app using SDK 2.0. And tried to transfer the mod file to the phone using the Apploader. But I was not able to transfer it. But I was able to transfer the files developed using SDK 1.1. Is that a known issue?

Thanks

S. You need to test enable your phone. Digital singnature failure generally occurs if the phone is not test enabled. You can send the phone to QCOMM inorder to test enable it.

Hi Arun,

Thanks for your input.

But you mention that I "can" send the phone to Qcom to get it test enabled. Does that mean there are other avenues. I hope I dont sound like a lawyer :). I am guessing that I have to send the phone to QCom. It seems like too much bureaucracy.

Thanks

Verizon can also do that i suppose. But not sure..also in some post i read that it can be done by ourself. U may need to search the post and guy who was successful to do it himself :D
