My laptop (Win XP Thinkpad) showed me the blue screen of death complaining about an IRQ being less than something because of this old Kyocera Prolific driver v1.5.0.0.

I upgraded to 2.0.0.26 and, well, if I don't post another complaint then assume no more crashes. (http://tech.prolific.com.tw/visitor/v_fileBrw.asp -> Windows Drivers -> 2303 usb to serial v2.0.0.26 driver).
