Can I get BREW APP without via carrier

Hi there,

I just wonder if it is possible that I create a BREW application, download it to a BREW compatible cell phone and use the application. I want to write an application which I just want to use it by myself. Do I also need to pass the BREW test? And how to download the application to my cell phone?

If you are a member of the BREW extranet, you can obtain a developer's license for an app which I believe is good for 90 days. You can then deploy you application to a phone with a data cable and software you can download from the extranet also.

So to answer your question, yes, but it isn't cheap:

1. If you are a member of the developer extranet ($$$).
2. You have an ARM compiler ($$$$$).
3. You have a datacable ($).
