The task is to implement an imaging application on a BREW-enhanced mobile phone (the Brew version of this device is expected to be 3.0). The respective application
- makes use of the built-in camera via ICamera-Interface
- uses a core imaging algorithm provided in ANSI C
- sends specific images via email, MMS, Infrared, Bluetooth
- accesses the file system to store and load images in jpeg-format (file format jfif)
- records, encodes, decodes and replays AMR data (AMR being a standardized speech codec)
- UI according to specs
The time frame our product development needs is as follows:
- start 1st of December 2004
- delivery of first prototype of the application mid of February 2005
- final product code ready mid of May 2005
The integration will need the following step:
Knowledge of the environment (Operating system, tools)
Design specification of the application (together with the Project Leader) Emulation of the application under the target platform Demonstrator for first prototype (Feb. 05)
Test specification (Together with the Project Leader)
Final integration and test with product relevant quality (May 05)
Competence: Few years experience in Software project in embedded/mobile environment.
Technical competence: C/C++, BREW (preferred but not an absolute must),
SW development in mobile terminals,
image processing would be a plus
Language: Fluent English mandatory, German optional
