The dbgprintf's i've added to my code don't display on the logger output window. These messages display in the VS .NET output window though? I've tried changing from sync to ansync with no avail.

Is there special compilation commands that I need to add when creating my .mod file or anything else that might get the DBGPRINTF's to work?

thanks,
Ivan

No, there is absolutely nothing special. Are you sure you're running Logger properly? http://brew.qualcomm.com/brew_bnry/pdf/developer/resources/gs/starting_brew.pdf (p. 75)

What S/W build is on your KX1?

I have seen some issues with DBGPRINTF on older S/W builds, but the latest ones should work fine.

We ended up having another KX1 at the office that runs fine on the logger (including printing DBGPRINTF()s).

I'm not exactly sure what S/W builds are or how to find out their build version?

I know the KX1 that works with the logger is a Verizon phone, and the one that doesn't is a US Cellular phone. The two phones do have different User Menus for navigating through the phone's features. Does this mean they are using different Operating Systems, or is the Operating System the same just tweaked for the different service providers?

Thanks,
Ivan

OK I found the SW version of the US Cellular KX1 (this is the phone with major problems), which was NA0311.

The Verizon KX1 (which is the phone with no problems) has SW version NA1003.

I'm guessing this is most likely the answer to my problems with the US Cellular KX1. That is the SW Version is an old shotty version...?

Thanks,
Ivan

Yes, that is a pretty old pre-commercial build.

I would expect that to be fixed by the time USCC launches this device.
