Hi All,

After looking at all the messages and Threads, it's hard to tell if anyone has actually been able to do a compile and successfully loaded it onto a phone..

( using a freely available compiler )

Just a lot of.. "it should work..", "you should be able to do [this].." etc.

So, has anyone done it? And, if so, what compiler/Development environment did you use, and are there any special settings/flags/operations you used to get it to work.

Or any news from groups Qualcomm wanted to look into alternatives to using ARM's tools?

Thanks,

Joe Siebenmann

We do have code for building Brew source using GCC. This development was done outside of Qualcomm, but we have seen this working and do have the code in house. It is not supported and not fully tested, but it has been done.
