Packaging for multiple phone

How do I package the app for multiple phones when I submit for testing? I have different bar files for different resolutions, color depths ( and in the future, languages). All documentation I've seen talks about submitting a single bar file as part of your package. Does it mean the testing is done for one phone only? One carrier? I am thoroughly confused at this point...
