AppLoader doesn't detect T720

I'm not able to connect to my T720 using AppLoader 2.1.1.3 and the latest Future Dial drivers. Cable is Future Dial USB.

When I plug in the phone the new com port shows up and I can select it in AppLoader but it can never connect.

Ideas, anyone?

Try resetting the phone and your computer a few times. If you're lucky it will work eventually. These older handsets have really poor driver support and the vx4400 and t720 support is notoriously bad. fortunately the drivers for the newer phones are MUCH better and typically work instantaneously. With the t720 however, I oftentimes have problems connecting and only a sequence of resets fixes the problem eventually.
