Wallpapers,Shared Directories , EMU and real phones

I want something like the iringer interface for wallpapers and screensavers but no APIs for exist for them.

I've looked at the pdfs for some of the phone specs.
Some allow you to store bmps/pngs in a shared directory for wallpapers for certain phones.. E.G. LGE VX6000

This would work for wallpapers.
How about screensavers?


Also, do the emulated phones have the same "shared" directories as the phone they emulate?

There is no API for wallpaper.

For Screensaver, you need to modify the MIF settings, also you need to add appropriate event handler.

I don't want to use Brew to make a screensaver. I just want to download a CMX file or PNG file and set it as a screensaver for a phone.
