Hi

I am new to BREW. I am developing an application for 2 way voice transfer using BREW SDK2.1
Can someone please help me out by providing pointers as to how to record and play voice using BREW APIs. Also, it would be helpful if you can list the extra libraries that will be needed for the same.

IMedia interface provides all APIs for that purpose. You don't need to link against any library.

Would like to clarify one more thing. When is the CMX DLL required ? Is it required only for recording and playing some specific format (of media file) ?

The dll is required to get the API's to work in the SDK. You will not have to link against them, but if the dll is not present or installed correctly, the playback/recording of CMX files and the API's will fail.
