2.1 supported devices

how soon after a new version of the SDK comes out are devices available that support the SDK ?

when will BREW 2.1 devices hit the store shelves ?

Following information I received from BREW conference 2003:

BREW 2.1 SDK would be implemented in new upcoming faster chipset MSM6100(146MHz)/ARM9.

Likelyhood of the new device with BREW 2.1 may not be before first quarter of 2004.
Qualcomm guys can give more accurate info.
