Hi,
I've got a problem to upload any file to phone device LG CX-500K. AppLoader application sais that there was no free space in EFS. But even if i erace some files there and upload very small file the same message was appeared.
- Can i see how many space left in EFS? Documentation sais that such feature is not available on non-Kyocera devices
- May be there is some kind of "recycle-bun" and i shoud do something to make deletion to take effect?
- May be thrre is some kind of "read-only mode" on that device. How can i switch it off?

Kyocera 3035 I think has a limit of about 256, and the Sharp Z800 about 96. You might have too many individual files. Just a thought.

Has this issue been resolved? Are you still having trouble with AppLoader?
The current version of AppLoader is 1.0.3.1 if you are using an earlier version please download the latest.

Hi.
We succesfully resolved AppLoader problem for LG CX500 by using AppLoader v.1.0.2.5. However, right now we have similar issue with Sharp Z-800 cellphone. I've tried AppLoader v.1.0.3.1 (latest available on site) and 1.0.2.5 (that we use for LG cellphone), both writes same message "Error - Attached device on specified port does not appear to support EFS". We tried this on two different Sharp Z-800 with same results, so this is not particular device issue. Note that LG CX500 requires that you set data modification mode in hidden menu (engineer mode), maybe something like this required for Z-800 too. Note, that though AppLoader is unable to connect, bundled tools like Melody Manager works OK with tha same phone.
Thanks in advance for help.

We have the same problem as Xenocid (Z800 - "Attached device on specified port does not appear to support EFS") and really need help from Qualcomm to solve this problem.

This is a known issue with the Sharp phones sold in San Diego. They need to be re-
flashed to support manual apploading.

I am having the same problem but with a QCP3035. The readme from the AppLoader says to upload the files one at a time. If I do that, it appears to load but after the resest of the phone, the files are gone. I am using AppLoader 1.0.3.1.
In order to upload apps to phone via cable, your phone needs to be test-enabled. You can send your phone to the Qualcomm phone center in order to get it test-enabled. Please refer to http://www.qualcomm.com/brew/developer/support/faq/techfaq18.html#T18C for details.
