I debated as to whether or not I should reply to your post, because an uninformed reply is worse than no reply at all -- but my better judgment lost out.
As far as I know, there are currently no JVM's available for BREW. If I remember correctly, there was some announcement a while back about HP "porting" their MicroChai JVM to BREW. But I don't have a clue where that project currently stands (it's not like Irwin or Carly ring me up on any sort of a regular basis)

you are right morgan but can I use JAVA as server side?in that case what should be used as client side and how can I call the serverside code from it??
Atleast this is possible i suppose as there are many queries regarding this in the forum.
kindly reply...

There's no reason you can't use Java server-side ... assuming Java is installed (or can be installed) on the server. And if BREW is what is running on the client, then you need to do your development in C or C++. As far as communicating between the two you can use the ISocket and/or IWeb interfaces. The BREW SDK contains examples that use these interfaces (e.g., RoadWarrior). And if I've misspoken in any way, hopefully, someone will correct me.
How about I correct myself ... the IWeb interface was introduced in 1.1
