I was wondering how digital notarization is done.

Do you actually notarize the .dll (rather executable) file of your BREW application?

When you buy a pack of say 100 from Verisign,
does it mean you can notarize 100 different applications?

Ya if you buy a pack of say 100 through which you can digitally notarized 100 application.

For Digital Notarization you need to install PTA(Personal Trust Agent [software through which you can notarize.]). I have seen definition of Digital Notarization on this link:http://www.verisign.com/products/notarize/faq.html
But still I am not able to get the idea to use digital Notarization. When I just try to digital notarize our application using PTA, their server[verisign] is throwing error.
Why???

But when I try using App.Signer Tool to sign application then signature file is created without any problem. Is this signature file which will be verified by NSTL??!!

I don't know then what's the use of App.Signer Tool. I have created signature file using App. Signer Tool.
